Hi all!
what a lovely first week! and I can proudly say that I taught a whole day on my own (my CT was at a funeral and they didn't hire a sub), and in my weakest subject, jazz band! I don't know how much they learned from me, but there weren't any classroom management issues, we ran through their charts fairly successfully, and I still had a smile on my face at the end of the day! The concert is next week and I'm conducting the grade 9's on one piece, for the rest of it, I'll be back in the percussion sections helping out. After the concert, I really hope to get some time observing other classes, perhaps one that Konrad is teaching down the hall!
